Terms of use

The rules for using Mimory. Creating an account means accepting them. Payment and refunds are covered by the public offer; personal data by the privacy notice.
1. Your account
An account belongs to one person. Access may not be shared: lessons, progress and vocabulary are tied to a specific learner. You are responsible for keeping your password safe. If you notice someone else signing in, write to hello@mimory.space and we will end the sessions.
2. Age
For learners under 18, the account is created by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on their behalf.
3. Acceptable use
You may not: disrupt other learners during lessons; post abusive or unlawful content in chat or homework; attempt to access other accounts; scrape learning materials; resell access. Serious or repeated breaches may cost you access. Unused credits are refunded if that happens — unless the breach harmed other users.
4. Lesson recordings
Lessons are recorded so a learner can review what they missed. Recordings are available to lesson participants in the dashboard. They may not be published outside the platform: other learners and the teacher appear in them.
5. Learning materials
Courses, word sets, tasks and other platform materials belong to Mimory or its teachers and are provided for your own study. They may not be copied for commercial use or for teaching third parties. What you write yourself — homework, your own cards, messages — stays yours. We process it only to run the service.
6. AI in the service
Some features run on AI models: homework checking, pronunciation scoring, vocabulary generation. AI gets things wrong. Its output is not the final word: homework is reviewed by a teacher, and the teacher’s assessment is what counts.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the platform running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service: maintenance and provider outages happen. If a paid lesson does not take place because of a failure on our side, it is rescheduled or the credits go back to your balance.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Registered users are told about material changes by email at least 14 days in advance. Continuing to use the service after they take effect means accepting them.
